Recommended wearing time: In the case of DIY TAPE hair extensions, the recommended wearing time is less than that of TAPE hair extensions applied in a normal sandwich structure because in this case, both the outer and inner sides of the joint are covered with your own hair, which less resistant to moisture and external influences. Therefore, we recommend it for temporary wear, for a maximum of 3 weeks. After that, it is recommended to remove or re-apply the hair extensions.

Expected lifespan: This hair extension can be reused several times with normal use and care! Expected lifespan with proper use and care is approx. 2 years for dark shades, approx. 1 year for light shades.

Usage:

ATTENTION! DIY sets must be taped with the adhesive tape sent with the hair extensions before application!

(Why don't we send DIY hair extensions with adhesive tape? Because many people like to dye the "root" of the hair extensions to their own hair roots and this way the adhesive tape is not damaged. And taping is very easy!

The hair extension line with double-sided adhesive surface is first attached to the hair that has been horizontally separated from the hair, and then the hair above the line is combed over it. The outer and inner sides of the joint created in this way are covered with the hair, so it remains discreet and unnoticeable in the hair.

Application: TAPE hair extensions should be applied to freshly washed and well-dried hair! It is important to use only shampoo when washing your hair, no balm, conditioner or other hair care!

Steps for application:

1. Stick the double-sided TAPE adhesive tape to the top of the hair extension (outside and inside).
2. Comb your hair thoroughly!
3. The back, bottom Start applying with the 1st row! This row will be about 2 fingers below the ear line. Use a comb to separate your hair horizontally along this line!
4. Hold the top section of hair with a clip or hair tie so that it doesn't interfere with the process.
5. Hold the hair extension and peel off the protective film from the adhesive part!
6. Place the hair extension on the horizontally separated part about half a cm below the hair root and press the top part of the hair extension horizontally onto your hair with your fingers so that your own hair sticks to the adhesive surface.
7. Peel off the protective film from the outer adhesive part.
8. Lower your own hair that has been attached and press the hair along the adhesive part so that the hair sticks to this side as well. This is how the row is applied.
9. Go a little higher, about 2 fingers above the completed row, and do the same Make a horizontal parting and attach the new hair extension as above.
10. When you are ready at the back, the two side parts can come.

After installation, do not water or wash your hair for 2 days!

In everyday use, the extended hair can be washed, but with TAPE extensions, you should avoid conditioning or wrapping the hair. (After washing your hair, conditioners should only be used on the part of the hair below the extensions and rinse so that they do not touch the extensions.)

Removal and re-installation: When removing and installing Tape hair extensions, it is always necessary to wash and replace the hair extension adhesive strip, which can be easily done even at home. When re-installing, the DIY TAPE lines can be easily and gently removed with a solvent. After removal, the old adhesive must be removed from the hair extension lines, the hair extension must be thoroughly washed and completely dried, then a new layer of adhesive strip must be applied to stick on the panels. The panels can then be reused on freshly washed, well-dried natural hair.

Removal steps:

1. Comb your hair.
2. Apply TAPE solvent to the joints. Rub the solvent into the joints with your fingers.
3. Wait approx. 2-3 minutes.
4. The hair extensions will easily slide off your natural hair.
5. Wash your hair and the extensions thoroughly.
6. Before re-installing, stick new double-sided adhesive tape on the outside and inside of the extensions.
