Warranty for Hair Extensions – Returns
We always strive to provide you with the most detailed parameterized, presented products for Hair Extensions and Hair Care products sold in the Web Store. However, there may be cases where a color is not exactly the same as what the Customer would have liked, or other problems arise. In this regard, please always study the warranty and return regulations for Hair Extensions. It is best to study this before purchasing!
Warranty conditions for hair extensions
The Seller informs the Buyer that the mandatory warranty according to Government Decree 151/2003. (IX.22.) does not apply to hair extensions purchased on the Website.
Exchange option provided by the Seller:
The Seller provides the Buyer with the opportunity to initiate an exchange of the product within 14 days of receipt of the order if the color or size of the product is not suitable. The possibility of exchange does not affect the possibility of exercising the Buyer's right of withdrawal.
Conditions for applying the possibility of exchange:
- Exchange is possible until the end of the 14th day after receipt of the product, the exchange request must be notified to the Seller in advance by this time at the email address info@pothaj-apolas.hu.
- The exchange of the product is only possible after prior agreement.
- The Buyer must arrange for the return of the product at his own expense. The recipient of the return is: Cri-Style Kft. 1214 Budapest, Erdősor utca 30-32. The Seller cannot accept cash on delivery packages!
- The product must always be returned undamaged, in its original condition, in its original packaging, with the seal intact and not removed. If the seal attached to the hair extensions is removed or damaged, the Seller may refuse to accept the return of the product! Please only unpack the hair extensions and remove the seal if you are sure that the color and length of the product are correct!
- The Seller is not responsible for return damage resulting from careless packaging.
Exchange process:
- As a first step, the Buyer must notify the Seller's customer service of the exchange request by the end of the 14th day after receipt.
- The Seller will inform the Buyer in detail about the exchange process in a response letter.
- The Buyer returns the product to the Seller's address provided above at their own expense.
- In the event of an exchange, the Seller will deliver the exchange product to the Buyer within 14 days without paying additional shipping fees. If the Seller cannot provide an exchange according to the requested parameters, the price of the product will be refunded.
Liability rules
All hair extensions or thickening are burdensome to the hair roots, which can cause hair loss. The Buyer is aware that certain allergic reactions may occur in people who are sensitive to all of our purchased hair extensions. These are not product defects.
The Seller cannot know in advance who may have allergic reactions, for which it cannot be held responsible.
The Buyer is obliged to determine the possibility of using the product himself and is responsible for any inconvenience caused by possible allergic reactions.
The Seller informs the Buyer that the installation and removal of Hair Extensions requires expertise and the assistance of a professional, therefore the Seller is not liable for any damage, injury or deterioration caused by or in connection with the unprofessional installation of Hair Extensions, performed by a non-professional, or by their unprofessional, or by their removal from the head or original hair.
The Seller does not assume any responsibility for dyeing, bleaching, perming, coloring, or other chemical treatments of the hair extensions. In this case, due to deterioration in quality and hygiene reasons, we are unable to exchange or return the product. The Seller will inform the Buyer in detail about the proper care of the hair extensions when purchasing the product or ordering online; these care tips can also be found here: https://cri-style.hu/pothaj-apolasa, however, it does not assume any responsibility for defects resulting from improper handling.
The Seller informs the Buyer that the hair extensions in the store are fiber-oriented, have an intact cuticle, can be shaped and dyed with appropriate expertise and materials within the limits accepted by professionals, but the Seller does not assume any responsibility for such interventions. With proper treatment and care, the expected lifespan of these hairs is approx. 2 years for dark shades, approx. 1 year for light shades.
The Seller informs the Buyer that the hair extensions available in the store - with a few exceptions - are not processed in a natural, undyed state, but are color-adjusted and dyed. For this reason, they may lighten slightly after several washes or in proportion to the time spent in the sun. The lightening is directly proportional to the number of hair washes, styling and time spent in the sun during the wearing period, this is normal - just like in the case of re-pigmented, dyed own hair.

The Seller indicates the expected lifespan of all hair extensions it sells on the product page. These values are for informational purposes only and can only be ensured with professional, careful handling and care.
Handling of incorrect dispatch:
If the supplier did not deliver the product ordered by the Buyer, please first check our order confirmation email. If the Buyer experiences a discrepancy, he must indicate this in an email message, describing exactly what is missing or what he received instead of the ordered product. The Seller will contact the Buyer as soon as possible and begin to correct the error. The handling of incorrect dispatch is free of charge for the Buyer.
Please note in all cases:
- When you receive the product and take it out of the box or other packaging, check that the color and type of the hair extensions meet your expectations. If you notice any problems, pack it back and notify us.
- Only remove the seals securing the hair extensions if you are sure that you have received the correct product. If the seals are removed, the product may not be returned or accepted for return.
- Hair extensions may only be dyed and styled at your own risk and with appropriate expertise. In the event of dyeing or coloring the hair extensions, the warranty cannot be enforced, and we are unable to buy back the product.
- Incorrect handling (excessive heat, inappropriate tools and/or expertise) may cause damage to the quality of the hair extensions. In the event of such intervention, the warranty cannot be enforced!
- The Seller does not assume any responsibility for any damage, injury, damage to the hair extensions, allergic reactions and other problems that may arise during the application and removal!
- The buyer acknowledges that hot hair dryers and hair straighteners dry and dull the hair. Human hair can react differently to various environmental influences and interventions.
- All hair extensions or thickening put a strain on the hair roots, which can cause hair loss. The buyer is aware that certain allergic reactions may occur in people who are sensitive to all of our purchased hair extension products. For example, metal allergies at the contact of metal clips with the scalp. These are not product defects. The seller cannot know in advance what allergic reactions may occur in whom, and cannot assume responsibility for them. The buyer is obliged to determine the possibility of using the product himself and is responsible for any inconveniences that may arise in the event of possible allergic reactions.
- Hair extensions are no longer living hair, so they must always be nourished and treated with care. This can be helped by using a suitable hair conditioner, which makes the hair softer. Make sure to treat your hair extensions with the right materials.
- When combing, be sure to comb gently and do not “tear or pull” the hair, as this can result in damage.
- Hair should not be combed when wet, it should first be “towel-dry” and only then can combing and drying begin!
